Kompression test Honda H22A JDM Engine...to high??
I got a Hybrid Civic -94 Hatch with a JDM H22A engine..
Well to start i changed the cambelt and some hydralic tensioner because it was very very close to brake..it aslo had jumped a few steps
so i did a compression test to se if the engine was in a ok condition and so i didnt brake any valves.
But i think this seems to good for a stock engine? (Theres also adjusbale cam gears,GReddy plugs , splitfire plug wires and so on..that came with the engine as well...)
Its meassured in BAR and there were about 16,5-17,5Bar at all of them which is around 245-250 PSI
Heres how the result looked like..

your good to go, i got 220 on all my cylinders( but i forgot to hold the throttle wide open during cranking so i bet its alittle higher), you may have a little carbon build up.
