KNOCK SENSOR......SEARCHED !
I'm running my 1990 LS with a swapped motor. ECU is obd0 PW0. The problem I'm encountering is the new block does not have a slot for the knock sensor. So its basically dangling behind the motor. However my ecu still checks for it and no one seems to be able to kill it. I've asked alot of people for a flash chip to disable it but no one seems to have it.
I also was told by a ecu guru to solder a wire from the knock sensor to a good known ground on the chassis.
Still didnt work.
Anybody out there have any other ideas ?

what block are you using, and what harness are you using? 1990 integras don't have knock sensors.
it sounds like your using an obd1 harness on an obd0 setup. is your harness hacked up at all?

My Point Exactly I have no were to put it, and it retards my timing sparacticly because the ecu is looking for it.

Tell Me who. So far Phearable.net and Kenji211 dont have programs for it and they are both pretty big.

I want to run my motor with no CEL. The CEL is throwing knock.
The block has no slot for the KS. I want to disable or anything else that is possible for the ECU not to read it or look for it.
I heard something about running the knock back to the ECU to slot B19 or something but I have no clue how to do it.

<-- Doesnt want to drill or tap anything just disable it for good.
Sorry for being so picky but in my engine bay I dont have room for that the motor is in the car. That would be a piece of cake if it was out of the car.

Well you've searched and asked ECU experts, and no one has chipped OBD0 ECU's... so, you can either do what was suggested above and just put the sensor someplace else, convert to OBD1 and use a chipped ECU, or just ignore the CEL.
