Default knock sensor ? high comp b20b or low? pics inside


^here is where i think my knock sensor was




my set up is obd2 to obd1 im running a jumper harness, my motor i think is a 2000 here you can see a 0/ and the other 0 but i can barley see it

I believe all 00-01 b20's have knock sensors. I did a head swap on a low comp 2001 and it had one

All b20 blocks have that threaded hole no matter if it has a KS or not.

im tryin to clarify its a 2000

ok once again for 98vtec. i want to know of my motor is a 2000 . i am running a p75 obd 1 ecu. i have a jumper harness for obd1 to obd2

what are you wanting to actually know? you may not be getting clear answers because you questions are not clear.

and if you are running a p28 ecu, it doesnt have a knock board.

why does it matter?

all engines have VIN plates on them which would determine the year, that is unless someone decided to be a smart as and remove it.

I'm just failing to understand why it matters and since this is a TECH discussion section of this forum, we would like to know details.

a non blurry picture would probably help too.

ok so how do i find out what year it is. i have that vin. i want to know if my motor is the high or low compression....

Do a compression test Nd you will have anwser rather than everyone doing research for you.

no body doin nothing for me i did looked and looked i took pics...now im asking ...and what if i cant test my compression how else do i check
