knock sensor
i got a mini swap running on a jdm b16a computer. i need to know if anybody has or knows how to bypass the knock sensor without remapping the computer. could i pin the ecu and ground the wire or maybe put the knock sensor somewhere that wont read a bad vibration????
plug it in and tape it to the engine harness
romulan_7...D series do not have a location on the block for a knock sensor...b16 computer will look for one
airborne63b...why not use a p28?

i understand that d series do not have knock sensors. thats why im asking if there is a way to bypass the sensor. maybe some wiring or just placing the sensor somewhere else. the motor runs great just there is no vtec due to the lack of the knock sensor. its 1 wire that is pinned in i think B19 on the EF civics.
I know what you were asking, that's why I said to plug it in and tape it to the engine harness, at a place where it will not vibrate, if your engine harness doesn't have a plug for it then you will have to wire it to the ecu
