Default knife edged crank questions...

i'm mostly an OEM honda person, and generally feel like honda knows how to make the most reliable power.

considering this...

what types of advantages and power gains do people typically see with doing this to a crank...

i'm assuming there is better revving, and better top end but less torque...???

i was told by comptech that it would eventually screw up the main bearings.And that a heavier crank helps for higher revs.i found this out because i was plannin on doin the same.
