ok so im some what of a nOOb but just wondering what the purpose of a kill switch is??? and is it easy and worth installing???? and if there is a thread all ready about this let me know and the thread link. TIA.....

you may have to search in the old archived material. stuff gets archived pretty fast - that takes it out of recent search results.

a kill switch is an anti theft device that stops your engine from starting. great for stopping amateur car thieves - probably in the same way that a good alarm is. unfortunately, neither one of them will do **** against a tow truck.
