i was wondering if anyone knows if them kaaz (dont know if spell right) lsd makes a clicking noise when the tranny is cold?...im gonna get a hatch that is equip w/ one and he told me that it'll click when the tranny is cold and when you drives around for abit(til it worm up) the click stop...the tranny doesn't grind or anything...

If im not mistaken, kaaz lsd are clutch disk styles, and they are known for making chatter noises etc.

 

but it suppose to make noise all the time right instead of when its cold?...he says that the click or noises goes away when the tranny warns up like after couple of mins of driving...

 

I think they are known to make noises all the time, but hey ur goin to test drive the car when u buy it right? so drive while its cold and see if it stops when it gets warmed up.

 

yea im gonna test drive it before buyin it but need to know if it does that when its cold and goes away when it warns up...

Mine is generally pretty loud and harsh. Make sure you run a GL-5 nonsynthetic 80w-90. I don't mind at all though because it puts down power amazingly. You can add some Ford friction modifier to quiet it down.
