the "new" CTR motor is just the RSX Type-S motor...

thats not true, cause the CTR that is comming to the US puts out 197 hp not 200, and it doesnt have the same tq. numbers

 

K24 is in the Accord, CRV, Element, and TSX

Anyway the type S motor is the k20a2.. the CTR uses the same k20 but with different internals.

it wouldve been better and easier just to use the RSX Type-S motor...initial numbers that ive seen said 200 bhp and im not really a fan of civics so i havent read-up on it recently....excuses..excuses... &lt;me.

 

Maybe the K24 will be the new rage in swaps...?

i was thinking that same thing when i was looking into the TSX... it has Good TQ numbers...

 

yea the CTR is commingto the US sometme around Dec. check the new Motor Trend for details..
