I think it would help a lot if you could post your dyno results sheet

something is not right if its a 1.8l+ block,
have you checked you timing?
what ECU are you running?
what type of exhaust or intake?

I made same power with 4-1 jdm header + ITR intake cam (no tunning) on my B18C (GSR)

175 WHP?

Well, actually...

Those numbers sound pretty good to me. Especially if you are still running a stock exhaust and intake (and since you didn't list them amoung your mods, I'm assuming you are.) If you put a good exhaust and intake on there, you will be able to take advantage of the better breathing of your cams. Until then, the stock exhaust and intake will be chocking your engine.

You made about a 30-35whp increase from baisally Cower Stage 3 cams and 11:1 Compression Pistons and a Skunk2 IM. (and while your intake and exhaust are still restricting your engine). That seems pretty good to me.

The rest of your mods mostly just help with reliability and tuning. The springs and retainers just give you better revability & reliability. The fuel rail and regulator and apexi v-tec controller just allow you to fine tune the most from your mods.

Now, if you do have a good exhaust and intake then that could be another story. You would have a right to be a little disappointed.

But, I'm no know-it-all.... that's just my two cents.

What is your VTEC set at. cause that might have a little to do with it you dont want to set it too low and get rid of the aem fpr.

The VTEC crossover has nothing to do with peak power. if its too high or low he would just loose mid-range power.

I would say that you should of been able to make more. I made 191whp and 121lbs @8700 (corrected) on my N/A 11.6:1 B16.
I spent 3 1/2 hours on the dyno and made over 20 pulls. most of my time was messing with the fuel maps. The Hondata stage 2 made all the difference, while the cam gears made no power...but that is more because the stage 2 cams matched the ported head so well.

Have you thought about getting a Hondata or some kind of stand alone?

the people where i went tunned it they said it made the most power vtec set at 7k,i thought it was to high, but i was reading about the cams and they recomend vtec minimum of 6k, so i dont know..
it is a b18, what wrong with the aem fpr..

The V-tec Crossover has nothing to due with your peak power. All it will do is perfect your mid range into a nice smooth curve. It will maximize your mid range power, but it will not increase your peak at all.

Seems rather weak to me. I'm running an obdI b18c1 setup and put out 173whp and 127 ft lbs tq on a stock p72 ecu with no tuning or controller.

my modifications are :

skunk2 port and polished intake manifold
CTR intake cam, skunk2 cam gears
unorthodox racing crank pulley
arp head studs
aem short ram
dc sports jdm 4-1 ss header, test pipe
custom 2 1/4 exhaust, ITR muffler
accel plug wires
msd sci ignition w/ blaster 2 coil
b&m fpr, underhood fuel gauge
act street disc, heavy duty pressure plate

nah man i dont think you should try a new setup, true your numbers might be a little weird for a b18, but it could possibly the dyno, an error there, i have no idea, but maybe you should get it tuned somewhere else just to find out. also chunk the vafc and go with something like hondata. the vafc runs off of one fuel map so when vtec engages you are still running that same amount when it should be different. im no know it all either but the whole vafc thing isnt the reason your numbers are incorrect.
