jus wanted to ask a stupid question and was hoping someone could help me out,i jus got a swap and unscrewed the oil cap and noticed a goldish color inside the head,does that mean the car wasnt serviced regularly?should i be worried?any answered would be appriciated,thanx

 

It just means that oil has been sitting in there for a while.

I've yet to see a JDM engine that didn't have gold stained valvetrain.

 

i talked to the guy who sold me the swap and he also told me that it smoked a little black smoke after about 8000 rpms,should i be worried or is that ok ? i kno black smoke means rich but jus wanted to know if i should be worried about it.

 

What kind of engine is it?
