Default JUN Short Engine B18C

Does anyone on this whole site have a JUN B18C short engine, does anyone even know they exist. They are on the JUN website, and you can also get a B16A/B version. They look like a pretty mean piece of gear but the japanese-translated english is a bit confusing. Are they for street use or are they only for track? If anyone has one, how much better are they than a stock B18C and are they worth the considerable hassle and money to import to Oz, or should i just stick with Mugen/J's Racing/Spoon parts.

Not even close to worth it. There are many builders here that can do better for less money.

Sorry mate, maybe I should have clarified something... I'm from Australia so US built stuff would be expensive and import costs from Japan are alot lower here, from what I've heard its JDM city down here compared to the states. Anyway, because its so easy to import Skylines, 180SXs, MR2s, AE86s, AE111s, Cefiros, Laurels, name it you've got it basically, there is alot of Oz made stuff for JDM Imports, but because oz Honda's are not imports, their is no decent Oz made tuning gear, so with that in mind, would the JUN short engine be a good option? I'm prepared to pay for the R&D that goes into it etc...

do some more research, look for numbers. But as ive quickly found out by only owning my Hatch for two months(my first Honda) is that theres always someone somewhere that can build hondas better and cheaper than some of the big boys.
