Default Jumpy Tach

As I get close to redline (6K+) the needle gets a little jumpy. I've been told the distributor might be taking a ****.

?

If so, anyone got one for sale?

I have an MSD 6 series ignition with a blaster 2 coil. Could that be the problem?

The tach is controlled by the igniter. Not the coil.

Yes, normally it is the igniter going bad. Normally 90$ or so.

I think I'll just get a new dizzy. I have an LS/VTEC and used me LS distributor (had to make it fit).

Would rather just get a VTEC dizzy.
