jumper harness question?

Default jumper harness question?

i did a search on it.. and no luck... but i was wondering if i bought a jumper harness for OBD2-ver.2 -to- OBD1.. for my 97 dx, if it will get rid of my check engine light, for my secondary o2 sensor, since i have no cat?

OBD1 only looks for a pre cat O2 sensor. So, it should get rid of the CEL

you have obd2 ver1 or ver. A

just so you dont buy the wrong one, but yah, that will get rid of your MIL

sorry mil? whats that stand for....... well as far as OBD2-ver2? i think that's what i have... how can i tell the difference tho? just to make sure, i was just told what i had..?

You don't have the version 2 of the OBDII, if it's a 97. Honda changed the plugs an ecu in 99.

MIL == Maintenance Indicator Light (?). I.E. CEL.
