Default J's racing SEV Orga Ion system

search through a few sites and i came upon this, after reading it im still alil confused to what it actually does
here is the link http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/other...shtml
now i normally i hate these topics but being that J's racing race's and supposedly uses there products and there products are supposed to be track prove. im still kinda lost to how this works. plus i have some real solid quesitons i would like answered i mean is it a simple hollow circle in the diameter of your intake or exhaust, which the metal contains cetain proporties and it changes the ionazation (or some ****). sorry i never really understood atoms and how they work? or does the air actually pass through a filter or something that "ionizes" the air. im still lost and alil septical, i think im only sceptical becuase i do not fully understand what the product does. O ya the price is frugen outragous. the regular version is 650 and the race is 2600.

another question is if it is just the metal that does this to the Oxygen particals woulnd't an entire intake out of this "metal" be more benifical.

and also one of the things that i did learn in high school chemestry is that some atoms like to combine, and i think Oxygen is one of those atoms. Now whats to keep the atoms from bonding back together.

(again these above questions im just speculating and hopeing some of the HT science guys can shed some light. Also i have no idea if what i stated above is correct its been 3 years sense i took chemestry and i didn't pay much attention then. on me now i wish i would have paid more attention)

ill copy and paste everything for the lazy folks

"Orga Ion System has made it possible to ionize materials (gas, liquid, and solid) by combining metal with radium ore. Orga Japan Inc set out its research with the idea "Could we change the air itself rather than mechanically modifying parts and devices?" After more than 20 years research and development on ionizing technology, they finally have achieved amazing result of increasing power level without making any mechanical changes on the existing automobile system. Although primary application is to intake and exhaust, this ionizing technology also can be applied to many materials including metal, rubber, and oil. Application of SEV to suspension, drive train system, brake system, and tires results in a material improvement of each system. The proof of the benefit of SEV system is found in the Formula Nippon car racing."

"Application to intake. SEV ionizes oxygen molecule (O2) in the intake into two separate O atoms. This change sharply reduces the heat loss produced by mixing oxygen with fuel. Furthermore, the air is collection of molecule. As such, the air produces some friction (resistance) when it travels inside of intake. The higher the rev of a motor becomes, the bigger the friction will be and the higher the resistance of the air movement in the intake. SEV ionizes the oxygen reducing the friction and the same time increasing the efficiency of combustion."

"Application to exhaust. SEV produces a difference of electric potential at the place it is installed. That difference generates a pulling force and the exhaust flow becomes more efficient. The impact on the motor from the exhaust pressure is significantly reduced. You can hear the difference simply paying attention to the change on motor noise"

Sounds like total bullshit to me.
You guys do realize that this is the same thing that they sell on infomercials for like $29.95 right? It's supposed to add 30% more fuel economy and hp...YEAH RIGHT! I don't believe the infomercials and I don't belive this ad.

Do the research yourself... ionizing fuel lines, intakes, and exhaust has been around since the 60's.

It's like those "Ionic Breeze" machines that you can buy for $400. They do work insofar as cleaning up the air, but there's no way in hell I'd put one on my car .
