jdm tranny???

i got a tranny with a b17a1 that i got....its not the stock tranny, its a s1 trans...so i was wondering if u can tell if its the jdm tranny or the usdm tranny...the sticker said: S1-1078093 any help is great!!

JDM transmissions generally have a J preceding any part #.
