Default jdm S1 tranny

Hey i have a jdm s1 cable tranny supposedly from a jdm b16 swap. The transmission has a box with 2 rubber hoses coming out of it. This box is located above where the axles plug into the tranny but a little closer to the passenger side axle. I've looked through a couple helms manuals and i cannot find out any info on what this box is.

Anyone have clue to what this is?

I think it would help if you told us what VSS stood for.

The 2 rubber hoses are for the variable power steering. The other hole is where you put your speedo cable...3gdude

JUST PLUG EM OR USE YOUR STOCK ONE OFF OF YOUR OLD TRANS. SHOULD BE EASIER THEN RISKING A LEAK FROM PLUGGING THE LINES
