can u put a jdm itr final drive on a y1 tranyy and if not does anyone make one for a y1 that is close to the same size

 

from what i hear , you cannot swap parts from a hydro tranny to a cable type tranny. Unless you have a ys1 tranny from a 92-93 integra, or jdm integra xsi. Im not too sure if anybody makes a Final for the y1 either, what you can get is a final from a s1 or j1 tranny.

 

I am told the bolt holes won't line up on you diff. You can get a type r diff to work but I am told you have to shave part of it to fit. A S1 or J1 will give you a 4.4 rather than a 4.2 ratio if thats what you want.
