When u put a side marker on ur car does it matter about the year? Cuz i bought a jdm side marker and the box say its for a civic 96. This guy said if i put it on ill b a lafin stock cuz its not gonna b right year. My car is a 2001 civic. Its just a fuken light on the side.
Tell me if hes BS.

Are you putting side markers on because you like them or because you are trying to go JDM. If you like them just put the lights on. Many people like me would never be able to tell that those 96 civic markers aren't for a 01 civic if that is even true.

if your car doens't have holes for them, it doesn't matter what year they car, you'r gonna have to drill a hole anyways-

hell yea JDM all the way and i like the side markers. Which wire do u connect the side markers too? Do u use glue to keep it on?

I would wire them into the parking light. Nort sure what wire that would be on your car. Good luck.

i'd notice it, and quite frankly, i'd consider it an insult to those who have enough patience to do a conversion the right way...but that's just me

do what YOU LIKE...it is your car afterall. that way, if you feel like a dumbass in the future, you have nobody but yourself to blame.

btw, this is definitely not Tech-related
