What kind of attitude and customer relation is this? I'm glad you're not representing Japan Star Motor because I'd fire you if I was your supervisor.

We compression tested the motor when we got it ready to start. With the low compression we were very disappointed, we then went ahead and started the motor. We didn't let it idle for more than 2 minutes because it was blowing blue/white smoke. We knew that was a piston ring, that is why we are wondering what Japan Star Motor can do for us since they claim to have the best warranty. If no action is taken within 7 days, we will tell all ethusiasts from our area (midwest) to not purchase anything from Japan Star Motor ever.

One of your representatives even claim to compression test all motors being shipped/sold. I guess the rumors are true about JapanStarMotor, they sell their best motors to their local pickups, but send out the worst to others.

608-779-4678 ask for Mike, if no answer within 7 days, then we'll just have to let our customer know that it was our mistake for dealing with JapanStar in the first place.

Yeah but it's wrong if the dealer ASSUMES it's modified, after all, we didn't even race the motor yet. We're just wondering why in the world these guys sold a smoking motor. Do they even know what makes a motor good? I mean come on, at least compression test, start up motor, do leak down test, and if you have to, replace necessary parts so it's worth $1350. (B16A 1st Gen)

JapanStar= No call no show type

JapanStar= No call no show type</TD></TR></TABLE>You know how long that will take these guys or any importer? Engine distributors/importers don't have time to do all that to every motor because they don't buy like 2 or 3 swaps from Japan, they get containers after containers man. Think about it.

Although most distributers do claim to compression test them, but that's it. How are you really suppose to ask them to start everyone of them up and make sure they are all running perfect? LOL.

I do feel your pain though, hope you get things taken care of man
