I called up a shop today and asked if they had any ITR sway bars. Anyways he said "yea we only have the US version, 18mm"

Is this right. I thought that the USDM one was 22 and the JDM is 23? any other thoughts on this?

Your shop dude doesnt know what he is talking about, as Mike said the USDM ITR rear sway bar is definately 22mm and not 18mm.

I wonder if one could be drilled and threaded like the comptech peice...

 

and what is the color code for the band?

Is it...
Green = 22 and
Yellow = 23 or vise versa?
