I see a lot of stroker kits the whole time online for B18C GSR engines and I rarely see ones for B18C Type R? Is there a reason they aren't used much? Where can they be got?

You might want to try the All Motor forum or the Civic Forum for more answers. The engine management and tuning forum is based more on the electronics of tuning.

 

Get an ls crankshaft and ls rods and install it in the block, you will more than likely have to modify the girdle and oil squirters.

a "stroker" for a gsr would be the same exact thing as a stroker kit for an ITR.
