Default ITR/SI throttle cable are they the same????

i have a gsr swapped into my EG civic and am going to be putting on a SK2 mani, my friends has done the same mod on his gsr but used the stock gsr throttle cable and it sticks up and almost hits the hood, i have heard that a ITR throttle cable will fit and fix the cable so that it lays up over the runners.
but my question is is an ITR and SI throttle cable the same, cuz the local dealer chargers just a little more for ITR parts so i have this found out.

oh yeah, i also have an ITR throttle body that i will be putting on at the time, so will i definitely need the ITR throttle cable to make it all work.

on me for not knowing, thanks H-T

I had the same setup and just used the stock civic cable. The stock civic manifold is similar to a skunk one right. In design I mean. Get the little bracket that goes in the two holes on top of the skunk manifold and change the gsr TB pulley. Dont worry about that last step if you are going to the ITR TB also. Worked for me.
