I bought this muffler along with the cat-back from a local guy. He said it came off of a '97 ITR. Now from the pictures I've seen on here, the ITR muffler's exhaust tip usually sticks out a bit further and is not welded directly to the muffler case like this one (ITR on the left):

Also, I'm gonna be putting this on my EG hatch, so if you guys have any tricks to making this fit lmk, cause the muffler is obviously larger than the stock one. Thanks.

 

first 2 pics shows the real one.. but the lower pics.. there's something wrong with the tip.

 

Do you think the tip was just shortened and welded back on for some reason?

yea the last one u posted looks like it was cut nd rewelded

 

yeah it seems maybe someone already customized it to fit a hatch

 

Ahh, gotcha. That would make since, because the guy said that he had it on a hatch at one point.
