Default ITR Cam ?

Went to pick up my re-sleeved block from my machine shop, went to drop it off at the shop and realized my ITR cams where stolen.....Any way is there a diff between JDM and USDM cams. Also maybe a guestimate on how much i could find some for. Since im gonna end up prolly having to sue, i might just go with some aftermarket ones. Any suggestions on cams for a daily driven 85mm 12:1cr ITR that would work with stock valvetrain, assuming i dont have the funds to replace stock ones. to ******* thieves! to any suggestions.

Please tell us a little more about your setup. For example, are you running the stock OBD2 ECU; chipped OBD1; w/ Hondata? What kind of header/exhaust/intake? If you are looking to upgrade your cams, be sure your ECU will support the upgrade, along with the valve train. Toda A's or the JDM CTR cams would work with your stock ITR valve train.

i have the stock ITR ecu atm, however i have a chipped p28 along with a hondata s200 sitting in the corner. However i know of no one in my area who is a reputable tuner. I have MSD full ignition, AEM fuel rail, FPR, CAI. Skunk2 cam gears. JE 11.5:1cr pistons along with eagle rods bored to 85mm and a HG that bumps it to 12:1 cr. Head has been port matched to each manifold and thats about it.

Also, since i am having to replace the cams im leaning to something like the Rocket M22s or Toda Cs. And really i would want to replace the valvetrain with any aftermarket cam, assumin i have the funds...

I am currently using the JDM CTR intake cam and stock ITR exhaust cam in my '98 ITR. I also use a chipped p28, and have a soon-to-be-installed S200. I have made extensive performance upgrades to the car with emphasis on the suspension and external engine mods. Stock pistons and bottom end for now.

What kind of difference did you feel when you ran the CTR cam against the stock one?

It makes a noticeable difference if you improve the intake and exhaust flow, add some fuel at the high end, and adjust the A/F mix. My tuner uses a wideband and the VAFCII in my car. The CTR intake cam roars at WOT!
