ITR brake booster?

I keep hearing about this upgrade for eg's ... what exactly does this help? sorry if this is a

I heard that it is a good upgrade, along with the complete 5-lug changeover front and rear.

right.. thats all i hear.. "its a good upgrade"... well what is it upgrading exactly as far as performance?

I know a guy that did the full changeover, and he said the braking is very sensitive. If he pushes the brakes too hard they lock up very easy.......

It's not the booster per-se, it's the fact that you need to swap it anyway to mount an ITR/GSR master cylinder. THATS the real upgrade. the booster by itself won't do much.
