Default ITB confusion

ITB only benefits DOHC VTEC motors and nothing else right? I hear it will lag SOHC VTEC and it's not even worth thinking about ITB on...say a D15B7, being non-VTEC, SOHC.

With that being said, do you think using carb'd ITBs would be pointless?

Thanks guys,
Jim

i dont know all the detail, but ITB is not something to be done alone. It has to be tuned properly and coupled with other mods for it to work to its full potential. Waste of money otherwise, and its a PITA to do, because of all the parts.

Aw ****, I'd never do it alone, but why even start if it's just gonna lag the setup (but the posts say different) considering everything is tuned.

Thanks for the input though
