Internal question about LS integra??
I did a search and came acroos nothing that really answers my question in depth.Im am planing on running a LS all motor, with the help of crower.I was woundering wich way to go about the compression.I orderewd CTR standard size piston. With a stock head gasket. Now according to c-speed racing that will give me the compression i want (12:1).But would it be simpler to send the head out to endyn and have them mill the head. Now I dont know if they can mill it far enough. Can they.I would rather tear the bottom apart but my real question is do i have to modify the stockLS rods to fit the CTR pistons. And if so in what way.Wrist pin in wrong place?Or what.Thank you for all the help in advance.Im a newbie so bear with me.Peace.
WHat is up with everyone and Endyn!!! DON"T DO ANYTHING WITH THEM.
one man shop. That screws a lot of people stuff up.
N-E-way, to answer your question. It would be much more reliable to do the pistons. Milling will make it that much easier for the timing belt to slip.

Small end of the LS rod needs to be machined to accept CTR/ITR/GSR pistons. (edit: LS rod is too wide at the small end to fit CTR pistons) Milling the head to up compressionis kind of bass ackwards IMO. I would go with pistons.
