Intermittent no-start, stalling, rough idle
I have a 2000 civic with a b18c swapped into it.
I'm having a weird problem with it.
Occasionally when I start the car, it is reluctant to start, and when it does start, it idles like crap. It hesitates bucks and spits. Sounds like it isn't getting enough fuel.
After a few minutes of shitty noises, it smooths out and runs normally.
It doesn't happen all the time -- usually only after the car has been sitting for a while, or after a drive, and a brief stop, like stopping to pick up a friend or fill up with gas.
Other times it works fine.
Any ideas on what to check?

im also having the same prob with my 00 b20 civic and also get a stumble while driving once in awhile. A few times the car has died (in traffic no less) and once restarted after a few tries it pops & sputters. one of those times, the end of the header and the top of the exhaust pipe were glowing orange. Ive cleaned the injectors and that didnt seem to help....any ideas?
Thanks
Thanks
i finally figured out why mine had a rough idle and stumbling problems...it was a vaccuum leak....maybe that will help someone else out...
