Default Interchangeable valve springs?

Hey i was wondering if i could use 99 si valve springs and valve seals in a b16a1 head? tia

b series valvetrain is the same
except with the type R.
in wich is better.

they are actually not the same exact thing, but it will work.

1st gen valvesprings are shorter, but have a thicker retainer.

....and to add (if memory serves me right)
1st gen B16's only have dual v.springs on the intake side and single springs on the exhaust side, wheras 2nd gen B16 heads have dual springs on both sides of the head.
