so i have an auto integra ls 4dr and it wont accelerate if my life depends on it. i mean 0-30 im good. but when i OT the engine will rev but it will just slowly build its speed... for example say if i drop my speed from 60mph to 40mph because the car stopped infront of me. then i give it some gas and its just going like 41,42,43,and so on at a nice pace. but my friend just bought a 2dr auto integra RS and its fast and sensitive to the pedal. I changed my spark plugs, brakes, excel, used chevron fuel injector cleaner/fuel conditioner, and thats about it. i checked my freinds engine block stamp, it read b18b1.

 

it could probably be a number of things have you ever checked the internals?

 

If engine revs but you do not increase speed, or speed increases slowly, have the transmission serviced. 94

 

the integra 4 door is much heavier than the integra 2 door... not to mention that the LS is standard fully loaded and the RS had most accessories optional, also the RS didnt come with ABS <-- huge weight difference just in options alone... I think this is where your integra lacks pickup

 

It's an LS 4 door automatic, they have like an 8+ second 0-60 time. They are heavier than the RS and that does make a noticeable difference.

Did you check your air filter? I've found everything from loads of leaves to dead mice restricting air flow.
