Integra idling problem. Possibly fuel problem. Help needed please
On my Integra, I put in an aftermarket fuel cell because the stock tank got water in it and the pump was stolen. When you start the car, it idles fine, but when you go down the street and push in the clutch to stop, the idle goes up to about 3K and hangs up. If you tap the throttle, sometimes it will come back down. The fuel pump gets REAL loud at the same time. When this happens if you turn the key off, and restart the car, the pump is quiet again, and the idle is back down where it should be. Here's my setup.
Edit: After driving for a while, it starts bogging out and won't run right.
JDM ITR motor
AEM fuel rail and FPR
B&M fuel pressure gauge that stays on 32 PSI
Triangle Eng. 10 gallon cell in trunk
Borg-Warner external fuel pump under car
The fuel cell has two taps on the bottom of it. That's where I connected the supply and return lines. The top has a tap that I connected the vent to. I also removed the charcoal canister from the engine bay. I capped the vacuum connection on the back of the IM, and left the one open on the top of the throttle body, but it doesn't matter if it's capped or open from what I can tell.
If anyone has any ideas, or know someone that would, please let me know. Thanks in advance

I bet it has something to with the harness running through the firewall on the wrong side,
. Do you have an electric fuel press gauge you can run inside to watch and see what it does, I thought you had one laying around.

Maybe a voltage problem? When you turn the turn signals on, the pump surges with the blinkers

what kind of fuel cell? if it doesn't have a baffle your fuel will splash around causing air to get trapped in the lines. I had the same problem with mine, I have a MSD pump and it does get loud when there is no fuel going to it. and also check your groun wire for the pump, try a thicker guage wire and make sure the contact area is good.
It's supposed to be a Triangle Engineering. Most of them look the same, and the guy from Triangle said that there are a few companies that copy theirs. It does have the foam in it.
