im buying an itr suspension for my gsr and the seller told me the control arm for the typeR and gsr are the same. Is this true or not?

 

the ITR LCA is completely different than a GSR LCA

the GSR LCA has the absorbers bolt on the outside of the LCA

on the ITR the absorbers have like an eyelet and they bolt on the inside of the LCA

look at it like this

this equals absorber mounting point= 0
this equals LCA holes for absorber mounting=|

GSR LCA-------- 0|0

ITR LCA--------- |0|


BTW: the ITR and GSR LCA mounting points (where the lca bolts to the trailing arm and subframe) are the same. the only difference is how the absorber mounts

 

they are NOT the same, but they WILL work with itr suspension.

How about the axles? Are the stock type R and Gsr axles different?
