Default Integra Bogging and now stalling, here are symptoms, please help.

1994 Integra GS-R

Things I have tried.

New plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor.

New Fuel Filter

Removed Injectors and soaked overnight in Chemtool, They look clean as hell and when plugged into a dummy plug and 12v, they seem to spray ok.

The car used to, at normal driving throttle, getting going and getting up to speed it would sometimes shutter, kind of like a slipping clutch. The clutch is old so it could be the clutch but this is the weird part,

Now it will stall if RPMs drop while sitting still.

If I take the car for a spirited drive it is fine at WOT but when I slow down and take it out of gear she wants to stall.

The stalling part is new, it only used to stutter when taking off or driving down the road around 3500-4k rpm.

I lived with the shutter for a long time and then the stalling started.

So I replaced the Fuel Filter and Cleaned the Injectors. Seemed fine at first then the shutter, and then pulling into my driveway, it stalled out.

I am kind of at a loss.

Could it be the clutch? That wouldnt make sense to me but maybe I misunderstand how it works. I used to have a light flywheel on another car and it would stall on me every once in a while. That is the only reason I would associate it with this problem.

Fuel Pump? But they either work or they dont right?

The car did sit for 7 months at the body shop 2 years ago and the stutter did seem to start after that...

I have tried the fuel cleaners and the seafoam in the vacline and tank, and I an convinced that they are bullshit.

Any one have any ideas?

Thanks for reading.

if u have a clutch that has broken it will cause the car to stall we have seen it alot. the fingers on the presure plate broke and dident let the clutch disengage. it wanted to stall at idle.but the car still drove ok. it could be the clutch but i cant say for sure. the fact that it was shuttering is what im looking at.

Fuel pumps do go out over a period of time. Mine took about a full month (since the first time I noticed a problem) to crap out on me. But you said no problem at wot so I assume thats not it. Try it anyways they are easy to install and pretty cheap.

Have you tried to adjust the idle a little higher?

So I fixed the serious bog/stall issue. I guess the plugs I used when I did the tuneup were bad. Returned the plugs and went and payed 80 dollars at honda for Honda / NGK R Plugs and all seems well except still at regular driving I get a slight loss of power and brief shuttering. I think it is a compound issue and the plugs fixed part of it. I can live with the way it is driving now, but I will revisit the issue in about a month when funds are there.

thanks guys.
