Intake Question
I'm a total n00b to the whole modding experience so I appologize for my ignorrance.
Anyway, I just bought a 2004 Honda Civic LX and I have been researching cold air intakes. Obviously, this is the first thing I want to do with my car. However, I've noticed that there are few (if any) sites that carry intakes that are marked for the year of my car. I've noticed this for most parts in general.
I want to buy an Injen air intake preferably, but I'm not seeing any that mention they are made for my car specifically. Now, am I going about this all wrong by assuming I need a model made specific for my car? Or do I really need to stick to those standards?
If so, would buying something made for say, a 2003 model be sufficient for my purposes?
Also, will doing this void my warranty? I'm just curious.

well from what I understand cold air intakes in cali need to be carb ok.? so that may be why you cant find one for a 04. also now I dont know this for sure but I hear that true cold air kits are great for every day use but short rams are better for low end. but that may be so B.S. so dont hold that statement to close
