I'm getting a loud whistle noise at about 1/4 throttle while accelerating. can't find the problem, any ideas?

sounds like it was coming from th throttle body, so I took it off and put some sealant, but it didn't help

It's normal for aftermarket intakes.

 

Yeah pretty much ne aftermarket intake will make it whistle.

 

it never whistle before I put turbo on it, then when I took turbo off thats when it started making the noise. it still makes the noise when i take the intake off. I know what you guys are talking about with the intake, but this noise is about ten times louder than that. could turbo have messed up my throttle body? I ran 10lbs boost

 

I would take off your TB check the TB itself and check intake mani as well.

 

what should I be checking for when I take them off?

 

spray intake cleaner around the mating surfaces and other vaccum hoses to see if your motor bogs when you do.
