Intake: Comptech or Injen
I'm lookin to buy a CARB legal intake and can't decide which one to go wif. There are two intakes that I'm contemplating on.
Comptech

or
Injen

There's probly virtually no difference in their performance, but I just wanna ask around for opinions on which you guys think is better. Or if anybody thinks there's a better one out there, lemme know...thanks

Both of those seem like a lot to pay for a short ram, so I would go with the cheaper of the two. Comptech makes quality parts, but I'm not really a fan of foam media air filters. Sure they flow better, but they don't filter very well. I don't have any personal experience with Injen, but from the pic it looks pretty decent. It's not like you can really screw up a piece of piping and a filter unless it fits like total ***(not as much of an issue with a short ram as it is with a cold air intake). Have you looked into AEM short rams? I'm not sure what they go for nowadays, but when I picked one up for my swap like 5 years ago, it was like $90. Nice quality and CARB exempt.
