Default Installing used o.e.m valves?

I have two bent exhaust valves on a 1998 gsr head and was wondering if it is just a direct slap on with used oem valves? Is there any surfacing needed or lapping needed at all?

no it is not a direct slap.
Used valves need to be faced and the seat needs grinding.

but i thought you knew that...maybe not.

Just double checking to see if a machine shop is really needed for the job. Thanks you mmuller hehe.
