Default Installing Tranny This Weekend Got some Qs

Its into a 86 CRX> Im puting the Si tranny into the HF. Is there any reverse thread bolts or anything tricky other then the axles bolts? Any help would be great.

i agree, it's as simple as 1,2,3 but it only takes me 2-3hrs, probably cause i've done it many times. hopefully you're throwing in a new clutch cause it sucks doing it all over again.

heh, it could be worse ... a b-series in the 1st gen CRX chassis ... to pull the tranny out we hand to pull the damn motor.

heh, it could be worse ... a b-series in the 1st gen CRX chassis ... to pull the tranny out we hand to pull the damn motor.

that sucks. my buddies 91 crx was fine with a ls tranny/b16 engine and it fit easily without pulling the engine down. the only problem was that b-series don't leave much room in the engine bay

yeah the 88-91 CRX are fine, I'm talking the 85-87 ones where there is 0 room, tranny can't physically come out.

Yeah i took a tranny outta a 89 crx (had ls swap) and it was a pain in the *** trying to get that thing to come out. Had to take of the tie bars that hook to the crossmember and all to get it to drop. Just have a friend around to help.. Good luck
