Default installing a LSD on a b18c1

how difficult is the install if you are already replacing the clutch?
i'm not to familiar with tranny work...but thanks

No, you have to remove it from the engine.

You have to remove the tranny from the motor to put a clutch in. You need to open or take apart the transmission to install a new diff. Its not that hard to install once you have the trannny off.

If you already have it off and decide to get someone to isntall the new diff, you will save some money, sice its out and ready to work on.

I've done three LSD installs on my car and you have to make certain that you spec and shim the tranny. it can be done but you would need some feeler gauges to measure the size of the shim. I'm not going to tell you that it's easy because it's not. It requires a lot of time and patience to open that thing up and get to the differential. With the Helms manual you can get to the LSD but as far as spec and shimming, I let my friend, that works at Acura do that for me. Good luck.
