installing hydro tranny??
sup racers!! i have a 92 honda civic si and im getting a stock tranny tomorrow. i've have two questions that is bugging me before the installation. i have done numerous installation on cable trannies, but i have never done one on a hydro. i need some help, if they are the same process or is there anything difference?? the thing that might stall me is the piping for the hydro pressures. i think. another questions is that, how can i identify if its a si, ex, dx, or cx?? please any suggestions or advise are very helpful. thanks.
just a few extra steps I can think of.......
VSS...unplug VSS sensor FIRST, or else you drop the tranny and rip the wires out of the plug.
SLAVE...unbolt the clutch slave cylinder (2 12mm bolts) and lay it over by the right
headlight.
Axles....pop the lower BJ and remove the axles, let them hang in the shock fork opening, no need to loosen or remove the shock fork thru bolt.
You got 2:20 to swap a tranny.... GO!
