Default Installing head

ok, i just had my head rebuilt and i got titanium retainers , i had type r springs, and i have type r cams. I am giong to put my head back on, what is the trick to installing the head? Isn't there a pattern i follow in tightening head studs onto new headgasket. and waht is the torque spec for them? Also, what is the torque spec for the cam holder pieces and all taht? Help would me awesome guys, goin to put head back on sunday, thanks.

get a helms manual it will tell you everything you need to know

i think torque specs are 63 ft/lbs for headbolts and 72in/lbs for cam journals...like everyone else says get a manual of some sort so you have a picture and know the correct tightening sequence.

NO, actually i cant right now and i need to put my head back on, so if someone could please actually help instead of be an *** and just write buy a manuel it would be great. All i want is the TWO specs, someone has to be nice out there, so please help me out. THANKS

I feel you man! Here's the bolt pattern:

8 6 2 4 10
9 3 1 5 7

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in a series of steps, increasing about 5-10 ft-lb each cycle.

I don't have the torque specs for the Vtec head, but for the LS head, it's 61 ft-lb for head-bolts and 7ft-lb for the cam-bolts. I think vtec head require a little higher torque.
