Installed Tein, popping noises
I installed some Tein SS on my friends RSX. It came as a complete set with the Pillow ball mount. I took the oem struts/springs out and put in the Teins. Rides fine, BUT then the next day it made a popping noise when he hits bumps.
I noticed that the middle nut of the strut is not tight from the factory. So I tried to tighten it but the center part of the piston spins. How can I stop the center part from spinning?
The stock ones have a hex in the center to put a hex tool to prevent it from spinning, however I don't see anything on the Teins where I can hold the center piston from spinning while I tighten them up.
Thanks.

Re: Installed Tein, popping noises (BG Boost)
where that hex normally is (on the teins, its where you adjust the dampening) where the threads are on the piston, it should have 2 flat areas (where there is no thread). this is so you can use a cresent wrench to hold it while you tighten the nut down.

Got any pics ? The area that you are talking about, is it right underneath the adjusting ****? Because it is very small...
