Default Installed new ECU, vtec is glithy....

I just replaced my ecu with a programmed obd1. My vtec kicks about 6000rpm, if i run it hard, it gets very glitchy. Is it badly tuned? do i need more fuel?

I had that problem, where vtec would kinda studder at engagement after and obd I was installed. for me, it was my timing was a bit messed. I corrected that and the issue was gone.

i just checked my oil leve and its fine. When you said timing, do you mean the timing belt? I think my program is "prospeed". Vtec starts at 6000k and redlines at 8500.
