I have a JDM B16 in my 89 Civic (OBD0 motor if that helps). I am going to be ordering the AEBS intake manifold. What extra parts will I need and what problems am I going to occur upon installation of this part. I have heard soem problems and fitment problems with this Manifold. I was just hoping someone could give me some insight upon this installation so I have a little Idea of what I am in store for. '

if its anything like a skunk2 manifold, you might have to get a newer style iacv and a newer style fuel rail,

 

some hoses to redo your vaccum lines

 

if anything, some of the holes for the studs may be a little rough, but that is all. no need for extended studs, if that is what you were referring to.

 

Yeah I was seeing if there was any major Modification. I already have the AEM Fuel Rail and the Fuel Pressure Reg and my New Injectors but I was waiting to do all this stuff at the same time as I got my Manifold in but I was curious on wether or not how difficult it was to get it on. I have seen the Skunk2 put on and it wasn't that tough just I was reading about Horror stories about this one.. Thanks guys.

And one other thing. I am going to get a Hondata Gasket for this install also.. Which is the best place on-line to get one and do you think its worth it to get one. I have heard its well worth it.

 

I have kicked around getting the manifold ceramic coated to help minimise heat absorbsion from engine bay heat, inside and out.
