JDM Hamp is an oxymoron, hence Hamp means it is sold to the JD market.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. Good pictures, that was 3000 miles with Syn. oil correct?

BTW, inlinefour.com has a deal, if you buy more than 5 filters, each one is the same cost as an OEM one. Or the cost at least is more reasonable.

I've got a slight rod knock condition and putting the bigger OEM filter on the last oil change made it worse.

So, I put the K-series filter back on and it does help a little with the noise. 'm kinda tempted to use the little green monsters to up the oil pressure even more to help save the crank.

But, I really need to get the pan off and check the play.

All good info. The filter was run for about 3000mi with Mobil1 5w30. It's probably in bypass mode more than filter mode (oh well )

That little weird looking thing is the bypass...it's sprung and the center pushes in if the pressure rises too much.

Oxymoron means the 2 words cancel each other out... ex JUMBO shrimp... jumbo=big shrimp=small...

JDM Hamp is a redundant not oxymoronic...

Oh and fram filters suck toe...

k&n mobile 1 and purolator are ALL better than fram...
