Default input on this intake

the intake I'm going to get next week is an Injen short ram, but I was browsing around and found this one intake for my car, with a pricing of a mere cheap $60 and a coldair for 100!! No brand specification. Anyone bought something of this sort? Reliability? Blah blah? Anything? "Stick with Injen" or "any intake will do the job except APC"?

Btw, how long would it take to install the intake by myself? What tools are needed? First timer and first mod for me as well.

Also, what function is a breather? And is it usually included with the intake? or must i buy it seperately? and I'm guessing it is essential, no?
