Default Input on brake pads

I'm looking to get a set of front pads but I'm not able to find the needed info. So I'm hoping to get some input from you guys who really beat up your brakes. Everywhere I go everyone is most concerned with brake dust, noise and cold stopping power. For me, I could care less how much the pads dust, I'm cool with some squeal and I'll give up some cold stopping bite for high temp bite. Important things on the other hand would be no fade at high speeds (drag race all the time with trap speeds over 100mph, as well as on occasion of doing 130+ to 0mph stops). I'd prefer to stick with something ceramic (metal pads chew the hell out of my rotors) but if there that good, I'll consider them. And of course cost is an issue (like to stay under $100 for a set for the front). I have used VGX and axxis pads, and both disappointed me. I currently use the AEM aramid fiber (now say there made of a ceramic-kevlar fiber compound) pads and they have been good. But i'm looking for something a little better. This is a street car that sees a lot of hard use so a little life would be nice, but not as important. Thanks and any input would be great.

The Hawk HP+'s look good, but anyone use them? I see they chew up rotors a little, but I'll live with that. But I'm reading that these pads only have a service life of 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Is this true and maybe any details about them (what's not listed on there site)?

By any chance the HP+ made for the EG Civic? I'm having a hard time finding them.
