Looking at injector prices for 900cc and up, I noticed that some are prohibitively expensive, while others are dirt cheap in comparison. PTE's, and MSD come to mind as the lower priced ones, while RC, HKS, and the other japanese companies show up around 2X the price for a similiar injector.

Is there an actual difference somewhere that I am missing? Do some brands over rate their injectors flow? Are some inheritly slower to response than others? Some leak more than others? Better flow pattern? (please show any backup to any of these claims if any exist)

I'm wondering why one would pay $800+ for 4 1000cc injectors when PTE or MSD's could be had for a bit over $400...
