Just wondering if any of you guys have done/dynoed this... I imagine you would only see a gain in high hp- FI apps but I could be wrong....

 

What is indexing spark plugs? I am not sure if there would be any gains other than increasing spark.
Edit: Oh, facing the spark in the ideal direction....probably about the same gains as a short intake compaired to a Cold Air intake.....minimal unless you have some serious power makers....

Indexing spark plugs involves shimming the spark plug seat so that when they are torqued down, the gap faces in the same direction for erach cylinder, toward whatever the best angle for ignition of the mixture is. I read in high hp apps it is good for a few hp. What I don't remember is what type of motor it was on.

 

could be any motor....just something that has the need to have the perfect spark....but, I think that if it isn't that expesive to do then it would be something to do......hrm, (attempting to untie fingers) any little bit of horsepower will help...there is just the want to take the time to get that horsepower or the funds.
