I have a d16z6 & tranny for $400 (canadian) for my ef hatch, from a friends motor, all it needs is a couple seals and its ready to go, only problem is that the valve cover front mid bolt does not tighten all the way, it is stripped :S..... I dont want to re-tap it because i dont want to have to clean out the head of the motor...hoping there is another way around it. Also where can i pick up the transmission housing bolts, it didnt come with any

you dont need to re-tap for those bolts, remove the valve cover and screw out the bolt and replace it with a new one. Then put teh valve cover back on and replace the top nut....you may also need a new nut but its a 10mm nut and so easily available.
